About me
I have been a professional software developer since 1999, working in the investment banking, healthcare, e-commerce and education industries. Prior to that, I was an electrical engineer in the defense communications and railway signalling sectors.
My side project
For several years now, I have been working on an equity trading system that attempts to use genetic algorithms to predict profitable swing trades in the stock market. I think it works. I am now building a trading bot to execute the trades for me, unattended.

Project Update (Sept. 2014)
I have open sourced my new genetic algorithm engine, SmallEvo, on GitHub. It includes an example travelling salesman problem solver, shown in action below.
